HydrOasis™ Catappa Leaves Large 10 Ct
Hydroasis™ Catappa Leaves are one of the most iconic leaf choices for aquariums. The Large catappa leaf is versatile and the perfect addition to any aquarium especially for larger displays. Their broad shape and soft texture make them ideal for blackwater species and an excellent source for grazing animals such as shrimp, Plecostomus and other scavengers. Adding catappa leaves can help create a more calming and healthy environment by providing a variety of enrichment that encourages natural behaviors. Hydroasis™ Catappa Leaves are easy to use - simply add desired amount of leaves to your aquarium.
• Recreate a naturally healthy, aquatic environment
• Releases a natural, beneficial tint to the water
• Creates shelter for fry, shrimp, snails, crayfish, and other invertebrates
• Natural food sources for many bottom dwelling species and invertebrates
• Encourages natural behavior such as hiding, grazing, and breeding
Instructions: Hydroasis™ leaves are safe to use right out of the package. Simply select the desired amount of leaves and place them in your aquarium. The leaves may float when first added. 2. Boil all botanical materials for a few minutes in tap water.
3. Drain botanicals
4. Soak your botanicals in fresh dechlorinated water until water logged.
